SPIRITUAL FORMATION — helping people become more like Jesus.

2009 Action Steps & People Responsible:

1. Spiritual Formation in Small Groups
   • Help small groups assess what they’ve done in the past and what they require in the future.
   • Recruit itinerant teachers and develop a curriculum that can be delivered in 2-3 week segments in small groups as requested.
2. Continue the Spiritual Coaching program adding new students and training new coaches as required and possible.
3. Develop some “Basics” material that can be utilized independently and encouraged via a couple of touches from a spiritual mentor.
4. Introduce a self-assessment that would be made available to individuals to help them determine next steps in their spiritual growth.
5. Continue preaching and teaching on becoming like Jesus during Sunday mornings for all ages.
6. Promote Spiritual Formation opportunities more effectively via a brochure, service slides and on the web page.
