STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY — building stronger relationships and healthier families

2009 Action Steps:

1. Continue the Faith At Home Events once a month and occasionally provide opportunities for peer interaction to follow.
2. Continue community events such as:
   • Family potlucks
   • Young-at-Heart activities
   • Church Picnic
   • Involvement in Pine Lake Camp events
3. Offer the Alpha Marriage Course again during the next 12 months.
4. Highlight our church Library, particularly in conjunction with Faith At Home events.
5. Continue our networking with other churches to provide high calibre Family and Community building events.
6. Continue our offering of Rainbows and Divorce Care.
7. Insure that we offer preaching on the topic of Family and Community.
8. Create some small group offerings that feature teaching around family issues.
9. Make sure that our various ethnic communities are integrating with each other on specific occasions.
