OUTREACH — connecting more people to Jesus.

2009 Action Steps:

1. Continue using large group events like our Stampede Breakfast and Christmas celebrations to attract new people.
2. Involve our staff in setting goals related to people in their ministry that they can talk to about making a decision.
3. Continue using a variety of outreach events to attract newly immigrated Chinese.
4. Continue to regularly preach on our need to reach out and provide training on how to reach out effectively.
5. Insure that we offer the Exploring Membership Class at least a couple times during the year.
6. Offer a class on Becoming a Christian to our Grade 5 & 6 young people.
7. Continue to pursue the relationship with Young Life at Bowness High School and perhaps also at a local Junior High.
8. Continue to pursue our Church Planting goals.
9. Design our Web page to attract more visitors and engage those who visit with questions.
10. Engage our Evangelism Team in meeting with various mid-sized groups to share stories and inspire then about outreach.
11. Begin some Affinity Small Groups that mandate attendees to bring some one from outside to the group.
12. Develop a Hospitality Team that would attempt to make our church friendlier and more helpful.
13. Consider some social action events that would involve a wide cross-section of our church in serving outside people.
