Elementary (Grades 1-6)
Kids' Connect provides fun and relevant sharing of God's love and truth in the preschool classes (downstairs classrooms) and elementary classes (gymnasium) for the 10 am service. Registration for the morning's activities will be in the classroom for ages 2 through kindergarten and in the gymnasium for grades 1 through 6. Cheryl can answer your questions.
We believe that children can be “powered by the spirit to transform the world.” We value all God’s children and their families. We seek to be child-centered, Bible-based, application-oriented, safe and fun. We encourage children to act as Jesus taught. He brought new insights and experience to God’s story. He told the story in ways that were relevant to the people. He taught so that people could decide to repent and change their ways to loving God, themself and their neighbor as well as showing that love in all they do. Our prayer is that they would make Him Lord of their life.
Ministry Description
We seek to provide excellent care and learning opportunities for our children though multi-intelligence teaching. We believe that in the early years, a child’s natural curiosity about God and spiritual matters needs to be nurtured at home and in the community of believers. The children grow through creative teaching, building relationships in small groups, and serving others in their community and the world.
