Worship & the arts

Worship Team — Our worship team practices are held Thursdays starting at 8:00 pm. Sunday sound check / rehearsal starts at 7:45 am. The same team ministers in both Sunday services. Mike oversees this team.

Tech Team — includes sound and lighting teams for regular rehearsals (Thursdays) and services (Sundays), and special events throughout the year. There are many opportunities for service. We’re always looking for new recruits with the proper “Aptitude / Attitude / Availability.” Training provided. Mike oversees this team.

Media Team — includes camera, video projection, video creation and sermon design and slide design teams. Training provided. Cal oversees these teams.

Camera Team — captures the stage presence and the images get recorded and sent to the translation booths.

Video Projection Team — meets for regular rehearsals (Thursdays) and services (Sundays), and special events throughout the year.

Sermon Design — is responsible for taking the sermon manuscript and creating a Keynote presentation of it for our worship services.

Slide Design —is responsible for creating advertisement slides and similar material for our worship services.

Dramatic Arts / Dance / Other Fine Arts — Special events and occasional use in Sunday services. We’re always looking for new and interesting ways to share God’s truth. Mike oversees this team.

Communion Preparation — These teams serve our congregation by preparing and cleaning up the communion trays for Sunday services. Opportunities for service. Training provided. Mike oversees this team.

Video/CD Duplication — providing audio tapes, podcasts, CDs and video tapes of the weekly Sunday services. Cal oversees this team.

Web Site Development Team — providing a means of accessing current church information and connecting people through the internet. Cal oversees this team.
